CTT (Cryostat and Detector Technique Thomas)
is a spin-off from the University of Cologne and was founded in April 1999. The company’s headquarter were initially located in Cologne due to its proximity to the university and moved to Montabaur in 2001.
CTT deals with the planning, development and manufacture of cryostats for the operation of highly segmented and high-resolution pure germanium detectors, as used in basic research. For most orders, the focus is particularly on close cooperation with the physicists of the respective institutes or clients.
